Life Is Beautiful Wants You to Design Their Poster
Aspiring artists and graphic designers take note: the Life Is Beautiful festival is looking for someone to create the official poster for their 2022 event.
“Want to try your hand at designing the official Life Is Beautiful 2022 poster?” asks a post to the festival’s Instagram account. “Enter now for a chance to win 2-VIP passes + be included as part of the 2022 art lineup.”
The post goes on to note that entries must be submitted by Friday, June 24 at 11:59PM PT. Further details – found through the official entry form – reveal that fan voting, running from June 27 to July 1, will help decide the winner.
In addition to the aforementioned prizes, the winner will receive a framed copy of their poster signed by “select Life Is Beautiful 2022 artists.” Further information can be found here.
Since its debut in 2013, the Life Is Beautiful festival has established itself as one of America’s premier music events. Held in Downtown Las Vegas, the fest offers a colorfully unique location, appropriate for its consistently diverse lineups. This year’s acts include Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris, Gorillaz, Lorde, Cage the Elephant, Jack Harlow, Gryffin, Big Boi, Migos, Alison Wonderland and Shaggy. The 2022 edition is slated to take place Sept. 16-18.
In February, Penske Media Corp. – the parent company of Rolling Stone – purchased a controlling stake in Life Is Beautiful, which up until then had been an independent festival. “We are thrilled to realize the potential of Life is Beautiful in partnership with Rolling Stone,” David Oehm, CEO of Life is Beautiful, said at the time. “As a landmark institution and touchstone of the music industry for over 50 years, the Rolling Stone team will help to deepen our connection to fans of music everywhere, while also championing the cultural initiatives that make Life is Beautiful so much more than a music festival.”
